Why are your prices so low?
Though our prices are low, our product quality, manufacturing accuracy, and customer service are second to none. We can offer such low prices for a few reasons:
1. We are a full-service optical laboratory. We grind & cut eyeglass lenses, apply coatings, and fit the lenses to the frame all on site, so you save time and money.
2. We avoid the high overhead of traditional eyeglass retail locations.
3. We perform hundreds of lens replacements a week, which allows us to buy products in bulk and pass the savings on to you.
How long does it take?
After we receive your glasses, processing takes an average of 4-8 working days. Your order will then be shipped back to you. We do not guarantee processing times. However, we do our best to complete every order as accurately and quickly as possible. Drilled rimless, high-wrap frames, and mirror coatings may take additional processing time.
What is a PD & how can I get mine?
The PD, or pupillary distance is the distance between your pupils in millimeters. Your PD is necessary to accurately fit your lenses to your frame so that you can see clearly. Your PD can be acquired in the following ways:
- It may be included in your prescription, OR
- Have your eye doctor or any optician measure it for you, OR
- We can read it off of any pair of your prescription (old or new) glasses, OR
- Call the store where you last had a pair of eyeglasses made (they should have it on file)

How do I know what lens type and lens material to choose?
The first step is to choose the lens type. Your selection depends on what you're going to be using the glasses for. If you are simply using the lenses to see one focal length, then you will choose single vision. If you need to see more than one focal length, then a multi-focal lens must be used. Choose between the various types of multi focal lenses, depending on what the lenses will be used for. Your prescription may also recommend a lens type. Click here for a sample Rx. Click here for further information on the lens types, or call 1.800.752.5572 for assistance.
After the lens type is chosen, a lens material must be selected. The stronger your prescription, the thicker and heavier your lenses will be. On our eyeglass lenses page, move your cursor over each material type for more information on lens material selection. Click here for a sample Rx to help interpret your prescription.
Are my new lenses guaranteed?
We guarantee that the your lenses will be manufactured as ordered, to the prescription that you provide. We also guarantee that the lenses will be free from manufacturer defects such as chipping, cracking, or peeling for one year. All of our lenses have a free anti-scratch coating. Your lens life is proportional to how well your lenses are treated. Although your lenses will have a premium anti-scratch coating, they are not guaranteed against scratching. What if I give you the wrong prescription?
Because our prices are so low, we cannot be held responsible for the costs associated with an incorrectly given prescription. Be sure to include the correct prescription provided by your doctor.
What if I can't get used to the progressive lenses?
If you are having trouble getting used to your progressive lenses, send them back within 30 days along with the frame and we will replace them with bifocals or single vision lenses at no extra charge.
What if my order gets lost in the mail?
We offer both insured and uninsured mail. Please insure your package for mail-loss protection. We cannot be held responsible for orders lost in the mail.
